Nebulizers

Nebulizers are commonly used by patients with breathing difficulties such as asthma or COPD. Their purpose is to deliver aerosol medications deep into the patient's lungs so breathing function can be improved.

Physicians will typically prescribe a nebulizer when a patient needs more support than a metered dose inhaler (MDI) can provide.
