2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off

The 2nd Annual Chili cook-off contest to benefit the Pickens County Meals on Wheels was held on April 18, 2009. The annual Azalea Festival is held in Downtown Pickens every April and this year the streets were filled with twice as many vendors as last year.

Air-Care had won the best booth award in 2008 and for the second year in a row we won the top team fundraiser award.

The Air-Care staff enjoyed passing out bottled water and balloons for the kids. Dave and Chris put together our secret recipe chili and although we did not win the best chili award we still had fun competing with local restaurants and fire stations.

All employees enjoyed green eggs and ham with biscuits. While eating they read Dr. Suess books to get an inspiration for our new Air-Care Home Health, Inc. Limerick:
